The slabs up here are in good condition. These homes are recent enough that we are not grinding out decades of contamination, and the concrete was generally poured to a better standard than the older tract work further down the hill. What that means practically is that prep is lighter, the install is quicker, and almost nothing is off the table in terms of finish.
It also means the garage was usually built with intent — deeper bays, better lighting, sometimes a third bay set up as a shop from the outset.
